Janet and I are still feeling healthy and keeping active mentally and physically, and enjoying our retirement. Lots of reading, bicycling, and way too much Facebook repartee. Seriously sequestered so that I can soon hold my granddaughters. Hoping for a fine 50th even if a year late. Isn't delayed gratification considered good for the soul?

I hadn't heard that Jay had died. Sad to lose such good friends of old. We visited him and Sunny may years ago and stayed at their fine home west of San Diego when my boys were young. Andy got car sick in the back of his sports car as he drove us up to Palomar observatory for a tour. Rest in peace Jay. Loved you man.

Sorry I won't get to reunion - after planning to attend three years in a row. Still healthy and happy and immensely blessed. But the news can get me down. Let's keep up the good fight.
