I hadn't heard that Jay had died.  Sad to lose such good friends of old.  We visited him and Sunny may years ago and stayed at their fine home west of San Diego when my boys were young.  Andy got car sick in the back of his sports car as he drove us up to Palomar observatory for a tour.  Rest in peace Jay.  Loved you man.

This is the picture we have of Scott Hauser (as a sophomore).  The alumni office supplied a large collection of senior photos including the one we've shown for Jay, but none for Scott.  They do look similar.  Perhaps a misidentification was made in 1970?

I have removed the photo until I can find a correct picture for Jay.

First, Thank you Tom Thomas '69 for all the work you did with Sue Angell in initially setting up the Oberlin70reunion.com website back in 2018 or 2019 and investing so much of your personal time in scanning, photo correcting, and uploading the photos of our class that were made available to you back then. I have removed the incorrect photo of Jay and scanned/uploaded what I hope is a correct photo for Jay from our freshman Wolf Book. Anyone who knew Jay personally, please let me know whether this replacement photo is not a photo of Jay.  Doug Rose, Current Class President '70
